I bet that you did not know that the famous Elvi’s Kitchen of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, served breakfast all day long. YES! They Do!! Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day and sometimes you wake up a bit late to catch a great breakfast, heck you are on vacation and in San Pedro there are not a lot of restaurants that offer breakfast all day long.
The funny thing is that Elvi’s Kitchen is not open during breakfast hours; they open from 11a.m. to 10p.m. every day (except Sundays), but that does not mean you cannot get breakfast at Elvi’s.
Chef Jennie Staines has always been hard at work perfecting the menu in her kitchen, bringing bold new flavors together and even creating a side menu that she calls “Jennie’s Creations”. It is in this menu that she has included some excellent breakfast options that are a must.

Two crispy golden brown fry jacks topped with homemade refried black beans, scrambled eggs, fresh shredded romaine lettuce, sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and salsa
Lightly grilled corn tortillas topped with homemade refried black beans and eggs over easy smothered with a fresh tomato chili sauce
Fish or chicken grilled with a spiced rub served on a fry jack and topped with a basil mayo slaw

Seafood in key limes, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh ginger, cilantro, soy sauce, wasabi served with corn tortilla chips (options of conch, fish, shrimp squid, Conch & Shrimp or choice of 3-Combo)
Everything you love of a fajita, minus the tortilla, just stacked between two fresh buns
Peeled cane is crushed in a mill and the fresh cane juice is served cold with no added sugar; totally refreshing
Take the Cane Juice and add the ingredients of a classic mojito (lime, mint, rum)
We are calling it the ‘Cute’ Key Lime Pie as it is presented in this one serving cup. Layers of graham cracker crust, lime filling and topped with a light meringue
