Corozal is an up and coming tourist destination as more activities are introduced to the area, but the largest town is still very quiet, cozy and with a picturesque setting by the bay. Corozal has strong historical connections with its Mexican neighbors and is the birthplace and home of the Mestizo ethnic group. The tranquil paradise is a step away from the tourist track but a very attractive, warm and welcoming part of the Belizean experience.
