The concept is simple, string eight inflatable tubes behind a skiff and drag along a party through the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and enjoy island life at its best. Anda De Wata Tours invites you to take a break from looking at the beautiful corals and snorkeling with exotic marine life and just snug yourself inside an inflatable tube while they tug you along the front and back shoreline of the island.
All you have to do is lean back and enjoy a serene tow, soak up the sun while you cool off in the water. But depending on your group, you can also make it a party. Soon after the tour starts, ice cold rum punch is drifted your way by means of a surf board! Awesome, isn’t it? Yup, not only do you enjoy a refreshing tow in the water, but also cool off with one of Belize’s signature and most popular drinks – the Rum Punch! There are also non-alcoholic beverages for those who do not drink or are underage.
The tour starts on the front side of the island and you cruise through the famous Caye Caulker Split and then head for the tarpon pool at the back of the island. The faint of heart might want to lift their butts out of the water for that part. As the tour guide feeds the tarpon they jump out of the water to catch the feed. It’s really exciting and a great opportunity to spot wildlife, such as tarpons and ospreys, and a chance to see the island from a unique perspective, floating eight inches above the water.
This was one of the most fun laid back adventures I have ever had in Belize.
