El Fogon unique and cozy restaurant that offers a menu dedicated to the home style cooking of Belizean Creole and Mestizo food all prepared in an open fire hearth (or ‘Fogon’ in Spanish).
Cooking on an outside fire hearth is what makes the restaurant stand out amongst the rest on the island. It’s one of the best places to enjoy local food unique to Belize and also the island of Ambergris Caye. Lunch consists of a diverse selection of dishes that represent the diversity of the Belizean culture – name it, they got it. Just recently the restaurant underwent some renovation that included the expansion of the restaurant’s dining area and a new bar.
