The annual Lobsterfest in San Pedro takes place right after the season opens on June 15. It attracts hundreds of tourists and locals who have a huge appetite for the delicious Spiny Lobster. The San Pedro Lobsterfest stands out from all the other Lobster festivals around the country of Belize due to the fact that it centers the festivities around EATING LOBSTER, while the Caye Caulker & Placencia’s festivals are more like large beach parties. But San Pedro’s Lobsterfest is more about exploring new and creative ways to prepare the succulent meat of the Caribbean Spiny Lobster.
